PC Keyboard functions


PC Keyboard functions include:
1. Windows Hotkeys

Ctrl + Escape / Win: Display start menu.
Shift + F10 / AppsKey: Display context menu.
Win + E: Start Windows Explorer.
Win + R: Opens the Run command.
Win + M: Minimize all windows.
Win + Shift + M: Cancel minimizes all windows.
Win + D: Toggle minimize all windows. or switch to see the desktop, using Show_Desktop.scf, while MinimizeAllWindows not minimize dialog boxes (including the Properties window).
Windows Hotkeys: Activate system tray. select the arrow keys, Enter double-clicks a mouse replacement, and AppsKey or Shift + F10 instead right click the mouse.
Win + L (XP Only): Locks keyboard. together with the lock workstation, on windows Xp will be prompted to enter a user name again.
Win + F or F3: Open the Search window. (All Files) F3 will not work on some applications when using the F3 to search facility dialogs.
Win + Control + F: Open Find dialog. (Computers) will open the Search windowWin + U: Running the Utility Manager.
Win + F1: Running Windows help.
Win + Pause: Running the System Properties window.
Win + Tab: Cycle through taskbar buttons. Enter clicks, AppsKey or Shift + F10 for right click.Win + Shift + Tab: Cycle through taskbar buttons in reverse.
Alt + Tab: Display CoolSwitch. Better known as AltTab window.
Alt + Shift + Tab: Display CoolSwitch; Return to the original.
Alt + Escape: Send active window to the bottom of the z-order.
Alt + Shift + Escape: Activate the window at the bottom of the command-z.
Alt + F4: Close active window, or, if all windows are closed, open shutdown window.
Press the Shift key while the CD is inserted: Disabling AutoPlay facilities.
Press the Shift key when logging folder: to skip the system startup. It will only ignore the application residing in the startup folder, not the start of the registry (Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Run \)
Ctrl + Alt + Delete / Ctrl + Alt + NumpadDel (Both NumLock states): Calling the Task Manager or NT Security dialog.
Ctrl + Shift + Escape (2000 / XP) / (Ctrl + Alt + NumpadDot): Calling the task manager. In the previous OS, such as the use of Ctrl + Escape.
PrintScreen: Copying the display on the desktop screen.
Alt + PrintScreen: Copy screenshot of current active window to the clipboard.
Ctrl + Alt + Down Arrow: Invert screen. Untested on OS other than XP.
Ctrl + Alt + Up Arrow: Return the position of the screen.
Win + B: Move focus to systray icon.

2. Generic

Ctrl + C / Ctrl + Insert: Copy Text or images or icons in the select.
Ctrl + X / Shift + Delete: Cut.
Ctrl + V / Shift + Insert: Paste / Move (Print or move).
Ctrl + N: Create File, Tab, Entry, etc new.
Ctrl + S: Save.
Ctrl + O: Open a file, folder etc.
Ctrl + P: to print.
Ctrl + Z: Cancel.
Ctrl + A: Select the language.
Ctrl + F: Find files, Directory
Ctrl + W: Close active window
Ctrl + F4: close a tab or a small window.
F1: opens the help.
F11: The key to view full screen.
Alt or F10: Activate menu bar.
Alt + Space: Display system menu. Just by clicking the icon on the titlebar.
Escape: Cancel selection of the control / menu, or close the dialog box.

3. General Navigation

Tab: Forward an item.
Shift + Tab: Return to the previous item.
Ctrl + Tab: Cycle through tabs / child windows (Sub Menu).
Ctrl + Shift + Tab: Cycle backwards through tabs / child windows (Sub Menu).
Enter: Activate or run aplikas selected.
Space: This button to select / remove the check box Centrang
Alt + (Letter): Activate item relating to (Letter). (Letter) is the underlined letter in the name of the item.
Ctrl + Left: Move cursor to the beginning of the previous word.
Ctrl + Right: Move cursor to the beginning of the next word.
Ctrl + Up: Move cursor to the beginning of the previous paragraph. These and all subsequent Up / Down hotkeys in this section is only known to work in RichEdit controls.
Ctrl + Down: Move cursor to the beginning of the next paragraph.
Shift + Left: Highlight one character to the left.
Shift + Right: Highlight one character to the right.
Shift + Up: Highlight from current cursor position, for a line to the top.
Shift + Down: Highlight from current cursor position, to one line down.
Ctrl + Shift + Left: Highlight to beginning of previous word.
Ctrl + Shift + Right: Highlight to beginning of next word.
Ctrl + Shift + Up: Highlight to beginning of previous paragraph.
Ctrl + Shift + Down: Highlight to beginning the next paragraph.
Home: Move cursor to the top of the scrollable control.
End: Move cursor down scrollable control.

4. File Browser General

Arrow Keys: Navigate.
Shift + Arrow Keys: Selecting many items.
Ctrl + Arrow Keys: Change focus without changing selection. “Focus” is an object that will run when the Enter key. Space toggles selection of the item focused.
(Letter): Select first found item that begins with the letter once.
BackSpace: Go up one level to the parent directory.
Alt + Left: Go back a folder.
Alt + Right: Forward the next folder.
Enter: Activate (Double-click) selected item.
Alt + Enter: View properties of selected items.
F2: Changing the name of the selected item.
Ctrl + NumpadPlus: In Details view, resizes all columns to fit the longest item in each item.
Delete: Removes the selected item.
Shift + Delete: Removes the selected item and do not go into the Recycle Bin.
Ctrl while dragging item: Copy.
Ctrl + Shift while dragging an item: Create Shortcut
